D4 Medical
HGV and Bus Medical Services
In order to obtain a provisional category C licence you will need to complete a driver medical. After the age of 45 you will be required to renew your HGV/ Bus medical and subsequently every 5 years. Once you reach 65 years it is an annual requirement to conduct a medical.
On the day of your medical
You will be greeted by one of our GMC registered doctors who will conduct the medical. The medical will involve an eye test, medical history, medication listing and blood pressure test. The HGV medical should take around 10-15minutes and you will be given the complete D4 form at the end of the D4 medical.
