Hackney carriage and private hire medicals
Both Hackney carriage and private hire taxi driver must complete a medical before being granted a licence. All councils require a group 2 taxi driver medical and dependent on local council guidelines, our doctor may have to deem whether you meet group 2 standards. Our doctors are up to date with all council requirements for driver medicals.
On the day of your medical
You will be greeted by one of our GMC registered doctors who will conduct the medical. The medical will involve an eye test, medical history, medication listing and blood pressure test. The HGV medical should take around 10-15minutes and you will be given the complete D4 form at the end of the D4 medical.
